FAQ

Fiber Balls

Fiber balls may be used in sand filter pumps instead of sand.

Fiber balls are not intended for replacing filtration cartridges in neither pools nor spa filtration.

HOW MANY FIBER BALLS SHOULD I USE?

500 g of fiber balls corresponds to 18 kg of filtration sand.

The balls should be placed into the filter container up to a level between the MIN and MAX mark but should be compressed to form a compact and rather stiff filtration layer. It is best to place the balls very close to each other; filling the filter container by pouring all the balls into the container at once is not recommended.

HOW TO CLEAN THE FIBER BALLS

The frequency of cleaning the fiber balls depends on the intensity of pool use and the degree of water contamination. The fiber balls may be cleaned in the filter with back-washing or washed under running water; it is however best to wash them in a washing machine.
